Nebraska now has reciprocity with Florida, effective 9/4/09.

Note about Alabama, since it is marked on our map above as full reciprocation -- I was just looking at the paper they sent out today with my wife's license.
"The Attorney General's Office of the state of ALABAMA has indicated that Alabama will honor BOTH resident and non-resident Florida licenses. However, the Alabama Attorney General notes that there is some uncertainty as to the limits of Alabama's reciprocity law as it pertains to non-resident licenses. Pending clarification by the Alabama Legislature or a decision by an Alabama court, he urges non-resident Florida license holders to exercise caution. Licensees should call authorities in Alabama to obtain the most current information."

a person with a florida or GA license etc is like you have an unrestricted Alabama license some of the sheriffs probably want to restrict non residents liek they do their residents...
OC is also allowed so if you dont have any license you can carry away(assuming you dont get into a car)

Reciprocity agreements bypass the locals sheriffs privilege to impose restrictions on your Florida permit in comparison to a Al permit.
