We're going to compile a reference list of local shooting and training facilities. If you know a place that has firearms classes (and what types of classes), please list it, along with contact information. I'll merge it all into one thread once we're done.

Thanks!!

We have 6 climate controlled indoor lanes @ 20 yards
Pistols & Rifles up to 3600 fps - no shotguns

We have a 20+ person classroom on site and offer several classes:
CCW - Instructed by the Fernandina Beach Police Dept
NRA - Several NRA courses offered by local NRA certified instructors
Ladies Only - By NRA certified female instructor
Private Lessons - By certified firearms instructors

We are open to offering other classes if people are interested. Latest consideration is a hand loading / reloading class instructed by our Gunsmith. What does everybody think?

Rifle or handguns? Or both?

He does both, so I'm sure it can be tailored to whatever people are interested in.

Sounds like a good idea to me. Let me know if you get it up and running.

Lots of stuff? I've been there a few times and its like walking into a walk-in closet. Nice guys that work there, but selection is minimal... unless you want shirts, tac vests, and holsters. That seems about it though.

Yeah, they don't have a huge selection. They are good people though, trying to learn the ropes. I haven't really bought much there yet but they are pretty much around the corner from me so I'm going to do what I can to support them.

For places to shoot, I shoot at Ancient City Shooting Range in St. Aug. It's a members only kind of place but they have a lot to offer in my opinion, good people out there too. And it's not that expensive, if you plan to go often.
